Originally, Koloman Moser intended this brooch to be a part of a children’s necklace with depictions of six different animals. Apparently, these graphic and minimal depictions of a mouse, rabbit, bird, cat, duck and squirrel stirred up the yearnings of parents, who also liked to wear these designs.
