Member of the Vienna Secession painter, lithographer, wood engraver and wood carver, professor at the Vienna Academy Studied at the Vienna Academy, then with Kaspar Ritter u. Claus Meyer in Karlsruhe. He painted scenes from the life of the peasantry of Lower Austria, portraits, figurative, landscapes. Designs for posters, book decorations, including K. Schönherr, Der Komödiant, Öst. Staatsdruckerei, Vienna 1934. Frescoes for the eastern pavilion of the World's Fair in St. Louis. St. Louis; figurative copper engravings and wood carvings, especially children's toys.
