Vienna 1865 – 1949 Grado
Painter and draftsman for the decorative arts. Born on August 2, 1865 in Vienna, died on December 31, 1949 in Grado. Student of the Vienna Academy. Auchenthaller initially drew posters and in his paintings he expressed his affiliation with the modern-decorative direction. He was often outstandingly active for the modern arts and crafts and for the decorative design of exhibitions of the Secession in Vienna.
