Prävali, Slovenia 1877 – 1943 Vienna
Gornik is an Austrian sculptor and craftsman. He attended the technical school in Villach and worked for Théod for 1 year. Charlemont and studied under Breitner and Strasser at the Wiener Kunstgewerbeschule, which he left with a travel scholarship. He first (Villach 1903) came to the public with animal studies, which were intended for ceramic execution, partly as lighting fixtures, and also provided designs for vases, bowls and the like with figurative jewelry.
