Maria Hora (née Hayek), who was related to Emmy Zweybrück, attended the latter's class. There she came into contact with numerous artists close to the Vienna Secession. 1914 Marriage to Friedrich Hora. The latter worked at the National Bank as a board member, was demoted to cashier under the National Socialist regime, and was rehabilitated after the war. The Hora couple also commissioned Wilhelm and Johann Jonasch to decorate their apartment in Vienna's 9th district.
