Nova Paka 1879 – 1942 Prague
Important Czech sculptor of impressionism and symbolism. Studied in Prague, in 1898 he became a member of the association of visual artists "Manes", with which he exhibited regularly. He traveled throughout Germany, stayed repeatedly in Paris (longest from 1904 to 1908 with his own studio), as well as in London, Italy and Vienna. His stay in Paris resulted in a strong approach to Impressionism.
