Oberndorf near Salzburg 1867 – 1929 Gmunden
Landscape painter, doctor of medicine. He settled in Linz in 1899 as a gynaecologist, but soon devoted himself to landscape painting, in which he achieved significant success in the manner of the Tyrolean painter Alfons Walde. Some of his paintings are in the Landesmuseum in Salzburg and the Upper Austrian Landesmuseum in Linz. From 1913 member of the Vienna Secession.
