Kunstmöbelmanufaktur, Vienna
Founded by A. Ungethüm, the company soon advanced to become one of the most important furniture manufacturers in Vienna. The most talented of his sons, August Ungethüm (1864-1911), studied architecture in Vienna with Otto Wagner at the Academy and in 1904/05 with Josef Hoffmann at the Vienna School of Applied Arts. He worked as a designer in his father's company.
