Portrait, genre, landscape and still life painter
1908 pupil of Rudolf Bacher at the Vienna Academy. 1910 he attended the public school Heinrich Knirr in Munich, then he was a pupil of Hans Müller in Dachau and Karlsruhe. 1913 Stays in Paris, England, Scotland, Spain, Scandinavia and Russia. 1914 front-line service, 1915 war painter. After the end of the war he became a member of the Vienna Secession in 1921. From 1938 to 1948 he lived in England, then back in Vienna. 1948 member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus. From 1919 Bouvard participated in the exhibitions of the Vienna Secession, from 1948 in the exhibitions of the Vienna Künstlerhaus.
