Painter, graphic artist, craftsman

After attending the Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt, Zülow studied at the Vienna Kunstgewerbeschule under Myrbach, Stark and Czeschka from 1903-1906. From 1908 he was a member of the Klimt group. He made designs for the Wiener Werkstätte and was a teacher at the Keramische Lehrwerkstätte in Gmunden. Zülow took part in the International Art Exhibition in Rome and the Winter Exhibition of the Austrian Museum of Art and Industry, among others, and was awarded the Gold Medal at the Paris Arts and Crafts Exhibition in 1925. He was also awarded the Austrian State Prize four times.
